The mystery is in the family’s past, as Jillian finds out from the web of spiritual and personal danger her return has led her into. Jillian even thinks her family may be cursed! How will God work in this situation?

I remember many years ago during some lonely times I watched a program of hers on a Sunday morning and was really inspired, she put things in my life back in perspective with my Christian values and I was so grateful I turned my TV on that morning!

I enjoy reading, Period. I read mysteries, biographies, children’s books. History, could go on and on, so am definitely, positively very sure I would enjoy this one. I have a kindle that is strictly for reading, but still love the feel of a hard back book.
I really have a problem with so-called “Christian” literature. I have read very few such novels because they are unrealistic in my experience. I do not see the need to label any book according to religion. Would you label “To Kill a Mockingbird” anything other than great literature? I believe that a work of literature succeeds or fails based on its merits (or lack thereof) as a work of art, not the professed religious beliefs of the author. I feel that people who limit themselves to “Christian” literature are limiting their view of the human condition. I am proud to say that I belong to the Anglican Church, but I do not want to limit myself to a single opinion of people and our world in general. That said, I really enjoy Victoria Magazine and have done so for many, many years.

Count me in as a Beth Mooreophile! She is the person God used to teach me how to dig deep in His Word for myself and how to, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to recognize the importance of these two Latin terms when I was exposed to them in other arenas as well as to live my life using these two Latin terms:
Ordo amoris: the ordering of my loves in my life so that I
keep my priorities straight
Coram Deo: living my life in the very presence of God, or in
His face, so that what I think, say, and do matches my relation-
ship with God
I’m not saying I’ve “arrived” by any stretch of the imagination, but my appreciation of how God used Beth Moore as an instrument along my journey with Him over the many years of participating and leading her studies runs deep and wide.
Beth is such a great writer, so I can only imagine how great her fiction will be!
