As we are ending 2022, I thank you all for your lovely emails, texts, and cards. It was a hard year for our family, as Mom passed away this summer, and many of you know all that entails. I still struggle with this rare anemia, and you have offered up meaningful prayers for me, and I thank you. Still fighting and praying.
I have not written to you in quite a while, and many of you have reached out. Thank you. I have learned more about perseverance during this time than I could have imagined. But we must all go forth and never give up. Never lose hope. I think you must live it to really understand it.
This time of year is hard for so many, and finding joy is difficult. Just when you think you have it nailed—boom, something else seems to pop up. I have started looking at these moments as another trail on my journey. We all must stop and evaluate how blessed we are in so many ways, and these challenges will make us stronger.
Next year, we will start Ribbon in My Journal over with encouragement and finding joy. Our family wishes you a blessed Christmas and holiday season. I am thankful for you and for being a part of Ribbon. Please encourage your friends to sign up. Thank you for your love and concern! We will go forth together.
